Q. What is the status of MGM Joomla! Gallery Manager?

A. Developement work on MGM continues as time permits, there is a newer version coming. I started out with the intention of making a small handful of improvements and have ended up restructuring nearly all of the code. And security is a high priority - this in itself requires much attention to detail.

Q. What are the new features in the new version?

A. This is getting to be a rather long list. Most visibly will be the new toolbar buttons - these will make frequent trips to the Component Menu a thing of the past. The interface of MGM now looks land feels like a part of Joomla! with all of the User Interface elements. List lengths are adjustable. Diagnostics have been improved. There are two new templates based entirely on CSS - these are somewhat experimental in that the thumbnails per row must be edited from the Template Editor. A new multiple image uploader will allow selecting images right from your hard drive.

Q. When will the new version be released?
